micro1 is seeking a Physics Expert with a PhD or Postdoc background to contribute deep scientific knowledge to a high-impact project. You will apply your domain expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn and reason through high-quality, real-world scientific input.
Key responsibilities
- Solve advanced physics problems from your specialization, delivering rigorous, well-documented derivations and analyses.
- Produce technically precise, clearly written solutions using LaTeX mathematical notation, detailing all assumptions and results.
- Utilize SymPy, Python, and Jupyter for symbolic or numerical verification and clear computational workflows.
- Identify and articulate subtleties in problem statements, including boundary conditions and dimensional consistency.
- Iterate on submitted solutions in response to feedback from project reviewers to ensure high-quality outputs.
Requirements
- PhD in physics or advanced-stage PhD candidacy with active research experience in a relevant subfield.
- Research expertise in areas such as High Energy Physics, Mathematical Physics, Biophysics, Statistical Physics, or Quantum Information.
- Proficiency with LaTeX for presenting mathematics and experience with Python, SymPy, and Jupyter.
- Demonstrated excellence in written technical communication and a track record of producing precise scientific outputs.
- Availability to engage with the project consistently over an 8–10 week period for approximately 10 hours per week.
