Key responsibilities
- Design and author advanced evaluation tasks in the physical sciences, including experimental analysis, computational modeling, and technical reasoning.
- Source, synthesize, and curate authentic research artifacts such as datasets, computational results, and scientific references.
- Craft complex scenarios and problem statements that reflect real-world technical challenges rather than simplified textbook examples.
- Develop detailed, multi-item grading rubrics to assess technical rigor, numerical accuracy, and adherence to scientific protocols.
- Document experimental reasoning and protocols with clarity to ensure reproducibility and high standards of methodological integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on research experience or applied technical project work in a physical sciences domain.
- Proven methodological rigor and strong quantitative analysis skills in scientific contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to document complex technical procedures in clear, professional written English.
- Familiarity with handling large volumes of technical data and diverse document formats.
