PHP Fullstack Developer (cleantech)

Britenet is looking for a skilled PHP Fullstack Developer to join a project focused on the One-EPR program, a cutting-edge platform designed for Extended Producer Responsibility compliance and licensing across various European markets. You will play a key role in building and maintaining high-quality web solutions within a professional, remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive web applications from backend to user interface in close collaboration with Product, UX, and Data teams.
• Implement robust backend logic using PHP and Laravel, while building modern frontends with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Connect frontend and backend systems via REST or GraphQL, integrate authentication flows, and optimize overall application performance.
• Shape the transition to a decoupled microservices architecture and perform targeted refactoring of existing applications.
• Develop and optimize GitLab pipelines, Docker images, and automated workflows to ensure efficient delivery.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong backend expertise with PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, alongside modern CSS techniques.
• Experience with REST API design, relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, Docker, and automated testing.
• Solid understanding of clean software architecture and basic knowledge of GitLab CI/CD.
• Ability to work independently and communicate confidently in English.
