Payroll and Compliance Specialist

Patriot Growth Insurance Services is seeking a dedicated Payroll and Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring accurate payroll administration, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across a diverse portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and compliant administration.
• Advise clients on payroll tax compliance, wage and hour regulations, and internal control best practices.
• Lead or support payroll and HRIS implementations, technology upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and payroll technology providers to resolve system issues.
• Generate detailed payroll reports, reconciliations, and audit documentation to support client business needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration, payroll tax compliance, or a related consulting role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processing, reconciliations, reporting, and wage and hour regulations.
• Hands-on experience with payroll and HRIS platforms and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client service orientation.
