Invisible Technologies is seeking experienced pavement professionals and roadway inspectors to contribute to the development of advanced AI systems. This role focuses on utilizing your expertise in Pavement Condition Index (PCI) surveys to train models in interpreting roadway imagery and infrastructure maintenance data.
Key responsibilities
- Review roadway images and inspection records to validate AI-generated assessments of pavement distress.
- Annotate and classify pavement features such as cracking, rutting, spalling, and patching.
- Provide detailed feedback on model performance regarding severity levels and condition ratings.
- Explain complex inspection reasoning to help improve the accuracy of AI-driven infrastructure analysis.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience conducting or interpreting Pavement Condition Index (PCI) surveys.
- Professional background as a pavement engineer, civil or transportation engineer, DOT specialist, or highway inspector.
- Strong attention to visual detail and the ability to apply consistent rating criteria.
- Excellent written communication skills to document classification decisions and inspection logic.
- Familiarity with roadway maintenance planning and inspection imagery.
