Oracle Java Licensing & Compliance Consultant

emagine Polska is seeking an experienced Oracle Java Licensing & Compliance Consultant to conduct a comprehensive assessment of our Java landscape. You will play a critical role in identifying licensing risks, evaluating compliance gaps, and developing strategic remediation plans to optimize our software environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess Java versions deployed across the organization, including Oracle Java and various OpenJDK distributions.
• Inventory servers, workstations, and applications to analyze Oracle Java licensing, contractual, and financial risks.
• Evaluate audit exposure, security implications, and maintenance requirements of current Java deployments.
• Develop a comprehensive remediation strategy and implementation roadmap based on migration options.
• Present findings and actionable recommendations to key IT and Procurement stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience with Oracle Java licensing and compliance assessments.
• Deep knowledge of Java ecosystems, including Oracle Java and OpenJDK-based distributions.
• Strong background in software licensing audits, SAM, ITAM, or compliance reviews.
• Ability to assess financial and operational risks related to complex software licensing models.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills in English.
