We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer (Go & PHP) to join our Post Purchase Experience Team. Your mission is to enhance our backend systems and services, focusing on streamlining order management, returns, claims, and cancellations. You'll be at the forefront of developing serverless backend services in Golang and maintaining our existing PHP monolithic project. You'll thrive in our modern tech environment, working with a cutting-edge technology stack that includes cloud-based solutions, service-oriented architecture, and API or event-driven communication, while also contributing to our established legacy systems. As a valued member of our international team of developers, working alongside a dedicated Product Owner and QA engineer, you'll collaborate closely to craft seamless and engaging post-purchase experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality code for our Golang backend services.
• Maintaining, refactoring, and evolving code within our PHP legacy monolithic project.
• Collaborating in code reviews to maintain code quality and enforce best practices.
• Working closely with product owners and fellow developers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Deploying and managing applications in our AWS environment.
• Staying on the cutting edge of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our development practices.

You'll need:

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Demonstrated senior-level experience in backend development.
• Extensive experience and a strong foundation in Golang (3+ years) with a commitment to clean code.
• Proven extensive experience (3+ years) with PHP, specifically within a legacy monolithic project, demonstrating a strong ability to understand, maintain, and evolve existing codebases while applying best practices for stability and refactoring.
• Extensive knowledge of APIs and web micro-services.
• Experience with asynchronous processing and messaging systems.
• Solid knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with AWS, Lambdas, Gitlab, Terraform.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and a desire to implement testing best practices.
