Neuroscience Expert

micro1 is seeking a Neuroscience Expert to contribute specialized domain knowledge to an impactful project focused on training next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will leverage your scientific expertise to help models learn, reason, and perform more effectively by providing high-quality, real-world input.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and review neuroscience-related data, research, and case studies to ensure accuracy and scientific relevance.
• Craft detailed explanations, annotations, and commentary to clarify complex neuroscience concepts for AI training purposes.
• Develop and assess scenario-based questions and exercises based on current neuroscience understanding.
• Identify emerging trends, theories, and methodologies within the field to inform and improve AI reasoning capabilities.
• Verify the consistency and scientific integrity of project content to align with established neuroscience standards.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent experience) in neuroscience or a closely related field.
• Proven track record of research, teaching, or consulting within the neuroscience discipline.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex scientific concepts clearly.
• Experience authoring or reviewing scientific publications, datasets, or educational materials.
