Networking Hardware Systems Engineer

CodiLime is a software and network engineering expert partnering with global networking hardware providers and telecoms. We are seeking a Networking Hardware Systems Engineer to join our team in developing software for modern networking platforms and cloud-native services.

Key responsibilities

• Research and define the best implementation strategies for client requirements and technical ideas.
• Engage directly with client architects and end-users to gather requirements and clarify edge cases.
• Develop and maintain a Python-based validation framework designed to test low-level SDK APIs.
• Utilize modern AI coding tools and LLMs as a primary workflow to rapidly generate, refactor, and expand test scripts.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python for building applications and maintaining test automation with pytest.
• Proficiency in building pytest frameworks with fixtures, parametrization, markers, and artifact capture.
• C/C++ literacy with the ability to read and analyze source code to understand hardware behavior.
• Solid understanding of physical router hardware, components such as optical modules, NPUs, and driver libraries.
• Strong root-cause analysis skills using logs, traces, test reports, and system state.
• Experience testing low-level SDK APIs and hardware driver features across physical hardware.
