Network Security Engineer

Uvation is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise security infrastructure across diverse cloud and network environments. You will play a critical role in maintaining a robust security posture by leveraging modern cybersecurity operations and advanced threat detection technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, and IPS/IDS.
• Configure and administer Fortinet, SonicWall, and Palo Alto firewall platforms.
• Monitor security events using SIEM and XDR platforms to investigate incidents and perform threat analysis.
• Implement Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and identity-based security controls.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to secure AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Maintain comprehensive security documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in next-generation firewalls and modern security technologies like SASE and SD-WAN.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM solutions such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or Elastic SIEM.
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles within AWS or Azure environments.
• Proficiency in networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and BGP/OSPF.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage security incidents effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
