Network Security Engineer

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy, building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment. We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to join our Network team and help implement end-to-end network security architectures for enterprise and data center backbone environments.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Zero Trust-aligned security architectures for both enterprise and data center networks.
• Configure Layer 3/4 and Multi-VRF segmentation, security policies, and secure remote access.
• Implement and test large-scale data center security solutions, including IPS, NDR, and Anti-DDoS systems.
• Integrate NGFW platforms with identity providers like Microsoft Entra ID and Okta, while maintaining automation and logging capabilities.
• Perform security hardening, vulnerability management, and patching on network infrastructure devices.

Requirements

• Strong experience in networking and security protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP(S), DNS, TLS, IPsec, and routing protocols.
• Deep knowledge of backbone and data center technologies including EVPN, L3VPN MPLS, MPBGP, and L2VPN.
• Hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls like Palo Alto Networks or Check Point.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux and experience with major network vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba.
• Experience with automation using Python, Go, or equivalent scripting languages.
