Network Engineer with Juniper - large scale intrastructure (f/m/x)

Sii is seeking an experienced Senior Network Administrator to join our team, focusing on managing and supporting large-scale production network platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for lifecycle management across global Points of Presence, data centers, and backbone infrastructure while ensuring operational excellence in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting lifecycle management for production network platforms, including hardware, software, firmware, and operating system versions across global POPs and data centers.
• Planning, coordinating, and executing fleet-wide network upgrade initiatives, ensuring device qualification and readiness checks are performed.
• Leading infrastructure rollout efforts across global POPs, data centers, and the backbone network.
• Operating a dedicated lab and test environment to validate hardware platforms, configurations, and automation tooling.
• Partnering with network engineers and vendors to investigate platform issues, manage support escalations, and document resolution paths.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production network environment with a focus on operational execution.
• Hands-on experience with networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista.
• Proficiency in core networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF/ISIS, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Solid understanding of large-scale network operations, including executing network change operations and software upgrades.
• Advanced level of English.
