This role focuses on firewall technologies, specifically Check Point and Fortinet, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Managing firewall configurations and optimizing performance to ensure network stability.
• Conducting continuous monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting of network security systems.
• Implementing planned configurations while strictly adhering to change management processes.
• Performing quality assurance on all network configurations and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Ensuring all infrastructure setups meet established security and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Professional certification in Check Point (CCSE or higher) and Fortinet (NSE 4 or higher).
• Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and operational management.
• Fluency in English, with German language skills considered a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and experience with automation tools like Ansible or Python.
• Familiarity with monitoring solutions such as CheckMK.
