Network Engineer (WAN)

Be | Shaping the Future Poland is a technology and business consulting company that helps organizations in the financial sector transform complex requirements into reliable, end-to-end solutions. We are currently looking for a Network Engineer to take ownership of our WAN product operations within a regulated banking environment, covering the full lifecycle from service entry to decommissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot Cisco ASR/ISR routers, including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS protocols.
• Resolve 2nd and 3rd-level incidents, troubleshoot WAN outages, and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate circuit provisioning, carrier handoffs, and new site rollouts.
• Participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation and support the Lead Network Engineer during major incidents.
• Manage vulnerability assessments, firmware upgrades, and ensure compliance with ISMS standards.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Cisco WAN technologies (ASR, ISR) and routing protocols.
• Cisco CCNA or CCNP Enterprise certification or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes in a regulated environment.
• Proven experience handling major incidents and making technical decisions under pressure.
• Fluent English communication skills.
