Network Engineer

OLX is looking for a mid-level Network Engineer to join the Global BIT Infrastructure team. You will play a key role in managing business-critical global networks, ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our corporate infrastructure across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across global office locations to ensure high availability.
• Manage network security services, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex network issues, conducting root-cause analysis and driving resolutions.
• Monitor network health proactively and lead the response to network incidents.
• Drive automation initiatives using scripting and infrastructure-as-code to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience with enterprise office network setups, specifically Meraki and Cisco stacks.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs, and routing.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
