Network Engineer (Load Balancing F5)

We are currently looking for a Network Engineer to operate our Load Balancing product based on F5 BIG-IP in a regulated banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, operate and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP (LTM, DNS, AFM) including virtual servers, pools, iRules and SSL offloading.
• Manage the certificate lifecycle, TMOS upgrades, F5 licensing, and execute planned changes during maintenance windows.
• Resolve 2nd/3rd-level incidents, support root cause analysis, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Tune monitoring systems, track availability and capacity KPIs, and investigate logs to ensure system stability.
• Maintain documentation, support vulnerability management, and contribute to disaster recovery tests and continual improvement.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, DNS, iRules, TMOS) in high-availability data center environments.
• F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA) or equivalent certification.
• Solid ITIL knowledge regarding Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management in a regulated environment.
• Ability to work independently within defined processes combined with strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
