Network Engineer (Campus LAN)

We are looking for a Network Engineer to own the operations of our Campus LAN product in a regulated banking environment, combining hands-on engineering with team mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst switching environments and support the upcoming Lancom rollout.
• Resolve 2nd and 3rd-level incidents while driving root cause analysis and problem management processes.
• Participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation and support the Lead Network Engineer during major incidents.
• Plan and execute firmware upgrades, maintenance windows, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Mentor junior and near-shore engineers while maintaining technical documentation and supporting ISMS compliance.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in operating Cisco Catalyst campus networks.
• Cisco CCNA or CCNP Enterprise certification or equivalent practical knowledge.
• Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks, including incident, problem, and change management.
• Experience handling major incidents and making technical decisions under pressure in regulated environments.
• Fluent English language skills and experience in coordinating near-shore resources.
