.NET Back-end Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Take .NET and API projects from initial roadmap items through specification to production deployment.
• Own and maintain specific parts of the platform end-to-end, gradually expanding your scope.
• Design and build robust APIs that support frontend and data teams, ensuring seamless integration.
• Break down complex tasks into shippable components while proactively identifying and communicating risks.
• Collaborate effectively by explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and utilizing generative AI in your daily workflow.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience building .NET services and APIs with the ability to deliver features independently.
• Strong pragmatic approach to software development, focusing on simple, effective solutions and clear trade-off analysis.
• Proven experience using AI tools in your development process with informed opinions on their application.
• Excellent written communication skills, as most of our team collaboration is asynchronous.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
