You:

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development
• Expert in .NET (C#), .NET 8+ (clean architecture, SOLID principles, async programming, etc.)
• Extensive experience building RESTful APIs at scale, with support for large volumes of data and high throughput
• Strong experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining backend services in Azure Cloud:
  • Azure Application Insights, Azure App Services, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure-as-code
• Performance tuning under high load (memory, CPU, I/O) in. NET-based systems
• Mastery of MS SQL Server (query optimization, execution plans, indexing, partitioning)
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize 10M+ SQL queries/day systems
• Experience designing scalable data models for high-volume transactional systems
• Familiarity with Hangfire or equivalent job processing frameworks (distributed job queues, retries, etc.)
• Experience with large-scale file processing using SFTP/FTPS and blob storage systems
• Hands-on experience with secure external system integrations via APIs and file-based exchanges
• Familiarity with email delivery systems like SendGrid or equivalent
• Experience designing APIs that interface with multiple third-party systems (e.g. insurance providers)
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2, role-based policies, etc.)
• Fluent proficiency in the Polish language

Additional requirements

• Ability to work on multiple topics simultaneously; the project requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to dynamic context changes
• Fluent in English, capable of direct communication with stakeholders and product managers
• Ability to own features end-to-end, from design and architecture to implementation and deployment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and deep curiosity about how systems behave under stress
• Strong advocate of code quality, documentation, and test coverage

We will also appreciate:

• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g. ElasticSearch)
• Knowledge about networking in cloud-based systems. Azure cloud is preferred (VNETs, Front Door, etc.)
• Solid understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and data protection standards in healthcare systems
• Experience with FHIR / HL7 / EDI 837 / X12 formats
• Familiarity with microservices or modular monolith patterns
• Familiarity with Kafka or other event streaming systems
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning

Your responsibilities:

• Development of code in cooperation with the project team and the client
• Supporting other developers in analyzing and improving solutions
• Active participation in analyzing, estimating, and planning the project
• Active participation in the Community (internal knowledge exchange meetings for the tech teams)
• Using English in everyday communication
