Mobile Developer (BLE || Flutter / iOS / Android || freelance)

intent is a team of experts designing and co-creating connected devices, wearables, and health-tech hardware. We are looking for a skilled Mobile Developer with deep experience in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to join our fully remote team on a freelance basis, with the potential for a long-term partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Own the mobile side of connected-product projects, including wearables and smart sensors.
• Design and implement robust BLE communication flows for real-world applications.
• Debug complex device interactions and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate closely with firmware engineers, backend developers, designers, and project managers.
• Contribute to technical architecture and communicate directly with clients.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance daily development workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Mobile Developer.
• Strong, hands-on experience with BLE technology.
• Proficiency in Flutter combined with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development.
• Experience with device pairing and real-time data streaming.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional proficiency in English, as most clients are US-based.
