MOBA Trading Analyst – Esports (m/f/x)

GRID is looking for a dedicated MOBA Trading Analyst to join our team and help optimize our esports betting products. You will play a key role in analyzing match data and market behavior to improve odds accuracy and support strategic decision-making across our MOBA titles.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze MOBA match behavior to improve pricing accuracy and overall market efficiency.
• Conduct variance analysis and regular trading performance reviews.
• Validate and monitor odds models for MOBA titles under real-time trading conditions.
• Detect model drift, pricing inefficiencies, and performance anomalies that impact P&L.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in sports betting, trading, or quantitative analysis.
• Strong statistical, mathematical, and analytical skills with practical application to pricing and risk.
• Deep understanding of Dota 2 mechanics, item builds, and tournament formats.
• Solid knowledge of LoL match dynamics, maps, and player behavior.
• Proficiency in statistical modeling and data analytics.
