Stretto, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Mitigator III to manage mortgage modification program cases from intake through final resolution. This role serves as a neutral point of coordination for borrowers, counsel, creditors, and the Court, ensuring efficient case administration and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage assigned mortgage modification matters, including case setup, document validation, and quality control of loss mitigation submissions.
- Schedule and conduct client interviews to gather essential bankruptcy, income, and mortgage information.
- Monitor case activity and deadlines within the portal, ensuring all matters progress toward a timely decision.
- Prepare and conduct conferences, coordinate with stakeholders, and document all proceedings accurately.
- Train and support team members on established procedures, workflows, and quality standards.
Requirements
- College degree and professional experience working with attorneys, courts, or creditors.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage loss mitigation and bankruptcy procedures.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume caseloads, strict deadlines, and complex document exchanges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PDF software, and electronic case-management systems.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to remain neutral and professional when interacting with diverse stakeholders.
