Middle/Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Loadar is a seed-funded, product-focused company revolutionizing road freight through automation, live bidding, and data-driven relationships. We are looking for a Middle or Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our remote team and contribute directly to the core of our platform, working closely with our technical lead and founder.

Key responsibilities

• Developing procurement workflows, including tender management and live bidding systems.
• Managing load execution processes such as bookings, carrier updates, and dock scheduling.
• Building and maintaining integrations with major ERP systems like SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Oracle.
• Developing reporting and analytics tools to help customers optimize their logistics operations.
• Ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of the platform as we scale.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining production-grade Ruby on Rails applications.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and effective data modeling.
• Proven experience in building APIs and integrating with complex third-party systems.
• Ability to work across the full stack, taking features from database design to the user interface.
• Strong ownership mindset and the ability to work effectively without close supervision.
• Excellent written and spoken English for collaboration with international teams.
