Middle Support Engineer (Node.js)

MasterBorn is looking for a skilled Middle Support Engineer to join our team and provide high-quality service for our US-based clients. You will focus on debugging, maintaining, and improving scalable web applications within a professional, high-performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with clients to gather issue reports and troubleshoot technical problems during the 14-22 CET/CEST time window.
• Review error tracking tools and infrastructure to debug and resolve ongoing client requests and bugs.
• Write readable, maintainable code and contribute to the design and modification of database structures.
• Collaborate with the team to translate business requirements into technical solutions and maintain project documentation.
• Proactively identify areas for product improvement and share knowledge to enhance overall team quality.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of commercial experience working with Node.js and backend frameworks like Express.js.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including experience with ORM or query builder tools.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services such as CloudWatch, SQS, and Lambda for application debugging.
• Solid grasp of clean code principles, design patterns, and modern JavaScript (ES 2018+).
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level) to interact directly with clients and manage documentation.
