Middle QA Engineer

DevsData LLC is seeking a skilled Middle QA Engineer to join a dynamic team working on a SaaS platform that manages digital identity records for physical goods. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring product quality by taking full ownership of the testing strategy in a fast-paced, high-release-velocity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of the QA process, including designing and implementing testing strategies from scratch.
• Build, maintain, and scale automated test suites using Playwright, ensuring reliable architecture and fixture design.
• Perform thorough exploratory testing and direct REST API validation to identify issues beyond automated coverage.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to define and evolve the QA approach while integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate existing QA setups to identify gaps and construct prioritized improvement plans.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience in software QA, covering both manual and automated testing in production web environments.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Playwright for end-to-end automation, including Page Object Models and CI integration.
• Proven experience in B2B SaaS product companies, holding quality ownership for evolving products.
• Solid experience testing REST APIs and familiarity with cloud-native or containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong ability to design test plans, perform risk analysis, and manage coverage mapping independently.
