Middle PHP (Laravel) Engineer

N-iX is a global software development company with over two decades of experience, supporting industry leaders and Fortune 500 companies in their digital transformation journeys. We are currently looking for a Middle PHP (Laravel) Engineer to join our team working on a sophisticated VAT recovery system designed to automate complex financial processes for clients across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for our financial applications.
• Contribute to the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the software.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise effective solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Help maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automation within the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience as a PHP/Laravel developer.
• Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Design principles and the LAMP stack.
• Experience working with 3rd party APIs, web services, and data formats like YAML and XML.
• Proficiency in Git and experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Upper-intermediate level of English and strong communication skills.
