Middle Embedded Software Developer (IoT)

Sigma Software is seeking a skilled Middle Embedded Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative smart beverage solutions. You will work on a project involving IoT-based smart home technology, integrating advanced user interfaces, secure firmware updates, and complex hardware control systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement components and drivers for displays, cameras, sensors, and actuators.
• Develop beverage dispensing logic including temperature control, pumps, and valves.
• Implement and manage secure firmware updates over HTTPS.
• Develop and optimize embedded user interfaces using LCD touchscreens and graphics libraries.
• Perform unit and integration testing on real hardware to ensure high quality.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in embedded software development using C/C++.
• Strong knowledge of STM32, ARM Cortex-M, and familiarity with NXP, TI, or SiLabs platforms.
• Proficiency with communication interfaces like UART, I2C, SPI, and Wi-Fi.
• Experience with networking protocols such as MQTT, TCP/IP, and UDP.
• Solid understanding of FreeRTOS or Zephyr and embedded graphics frameworks like TouchGFX.
• Experience with bootloader development, secure boot, and IoT cybersecurity.
