Key responsibilities

• Design and build web applications in Ruby on Rails, including relational database design.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write automated tests that cover edge cases and ensure overall reliability.
• Review code with high standards, ensuring quality whether written by a person or AI.
• Collaborate directly with clients to clarify requirements and discuss technical solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL, plus experience with caching and message brokers.
• Practical knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and automated testing frameworks like RSpec.
• Daily use of AI tools with the ability to critically review and maintain AI-generated code.
• Fluent English and Polish, with confidence in direct client communication.
