Mid Multimedia Designer

ALX Africa is seeking a talented Mid-Level Multimedia Designer to join our Creative Production team within the Learning Department. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our digital educational content, transforming complex information into engaging visual experiences that empower learners across the continent.

Key responsibilities

• Design and assemble illustrations, infographics, and data visualizations for diverse learning materials.
• Develop motion graphics, including video branding templates and kinetic typography.
• Storyboard and animate 2D vector graphics, including character animation.
• Edit video and audio footage to create cohesive, high-quality educational content.
• Maintain brand consistency across all assets while adhering to strict quality control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in multimedia design, animation, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in an agency or in-house studio environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital design, animation, and video production.
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively within a remote team.
