Mid Automation Test Engineer

Mindbox is seeking a skilled Mid Automation Test Engineer to join a long-term global transformation program focused on redesigning and modernizing Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities. You will work within an agile environment to ensure the quality and reliability of complex cloud and enterprise-scale systems.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks for API, event-driven, and graph-based services using Python and PyTest.
• Validate IAM models including RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, and PBAC, alongside policy-as-code decision logic.
• Perform REST API automation, contract testing, and scenario replays to ensure system integrity.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins to streamline test automation within the delivery chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate, improve processes, and manage defects in JIRA.

Requirements

• Strong Python coding skills and extensive experience with PyTest for test automation.
• Solid background in REST API automation using tools such as Postman, Apidog, or Insomnia.
• Knowledge of event-driven systems, Pub/Sub patterns, and experience with GraphDB or NoSQL testing.
• Good grasp of IAM concepts and hands-on experience designing Jenkins pipelines in CI/CD environments.
• Ability to produce regulatory and traceability evidence to ensure compliance.
