Senior MES Consultant (Manufacturing Execution Systems)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced MES Consultant to support the implementation and optimisation of Manufacturing Execution Systems within food processing and production environments.

You will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, warehouse, and IT/OT teams to analyse business processes, design MES solutions, and support implementation activities from requirements gathering through deployment and go-live.

This role requires strong manufacturing domain expertise and the ability to work directly with shop-floor teams in production facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops and business process discussions with plant operations and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into MES solution designs.

• Support MES implementation activities, including:

  • Requirements gathering

  • Fit-gap analysis

  • Configuration validation

  • Master data alignment

  • Test preparation and execution

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Deployment and go-live readiness

• Validate end-to-end manufacturing processes, including:

  • Production execution

  • Batch and lot tracking

  • Material consumption and yield capture

  • Downtime management

  • Quality inspections

  • Operator workflows

• Support product traceability processes across:

  • Raw material intake

  • Batch genealogy

  • Work in progress

  • Finished goods

  • Rework and waste management

  • Recall readiness

• Work onsite with manufacturing teams during testing, issue resolution, and deployment activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering MES implementation projects in manufacturing environments.

• Strong understanding of production and shop-floor processes.

• Experience with manufacturing traceability and batch management processes.

• Experience facilitating workshops and working with business stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Ability to work onsite in production facilities.

• Fluent English and Polish.

Nice to Have

• Experience within food processing, FMCG, or highly regulated manufacturing industries.

• Knowledge of IT/OT integration and industrial systems.

• Experience with ERP-MES integrations.

• Familiarity with ISA-95 manufacturing standards.
