Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Attorney (BigLaw Firms)

micro1 is seeking experienced Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Attorneys from top-tier US law firms to contribute their professional expertise to a dynamic AI development project. In this role, you will apply your deep legal knowledge to help train next-generation AI systems, ensuring that models learn, reason, and perform based on high-quality, real-world legal input.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert analysis and annotation of complex M&A and corporate law scenarios for AI model training.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on M&A, private equity transactions, and related litigation topics.
• Review, comment on, and refine datasets to ensure legal accuracy and real-world relevancy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contextualize materials and clarify legal nuances.
• Offer written insights and feedback on legal reasoning, transaction structures, and deal documentation.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited US law school and active bar admission in the United States.
• Experience practicing as an M&A attorney at an Am Law 100 or other leading US law firm.
• Extensive track record in M&A transactions, private equity, and corporate advisory engagements.
• Strong litigation exposure, particularly within corporate or transactional contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and work with remote collaboration tools.
