Medicinal Chemistry Expert

micro1 is seeking a highly skilled Medicinal Chemistry Expert to join a dynamic project focused on training next-generation AI systems. In this fully remote role, you will leverage your deep domain expertise to provide high-quality, real-world input that shapes how AI models reason and perform in the field of chemistry.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and review complex medicinal chemistry data, chemical reactions, and experimental designs.
• Evaluate and annotate chemical structures, mechanisms of action, and structure-activity relationships to provide expert insights.
• Contribute accurate, detailed feedback on molecular properties, compound synthesis strategies, and optimization pathways.
• Assess and refine datasets to ensure high quality and relevance for advanced AI model development.
• Identify potential errors or inconsistencies in chemistry-related content and suggest improvements.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a closely related field.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in medicinal chemistry, drug discovery, or pharmaceutical R&D environments.
• Strong understanding of organic synthesis, molecular design, and SAR analysis.
• Proven ability to interpret and critique experimental data, literature, and patent information.
• Familiarity with cheminformatics platforms, structure drawing tools, and scientific databases.
