Medical Strategy Lead, Oncology (Home-Based)

IQVIA is seeking a Medical Strategy Lead to join our Hematology-Oncology Center of Excellence. In this fully remote role, you will provide high-level medical and scientific expertise to support clinical development programs, proposal development, and strategic client engagements throughout the research and development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scientific and clinical advice for protocol design, clinical development plans, and feasibility assessments.
• Participate in client meetings, including proposal discussions and bid defense, to represent IQVIA's medical strategy.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Business Development, Operations, and Consulting to align executional strategy with medical objectives.
• Act as an internal subject matter expert, mentoring project teams and providing guidance on the competitive landscape and standards of care.
• Maintain current knowledge of scientific progress in hematology and oncology to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) with specialized training in oncology; hematology expertise is highly valued.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years within the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate scientific, operational, and commercial environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
• Proven ability to provide strategic guidance and make informed decisions in complex or ambiguous situations.
