Medical Director, Psychiatry

New Therapy Perspectives is a leading provider of behavioral health services dedicated to helping individuals build resilience and improve their mental well-being. We are currently seeking a dedicated Medical Director to oversee our clinical operations and ensure the highest standards of care for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of intensive outpatient services for adults, teens, and children facing mental health and substance abuse challenges.
• Collaborate with clinicians and medical staff to identify health trends and implement innovative, evidence-based treatment methods.
• Ensure all clinical documentation, including bio-psychosocial assessments and treatment plans, meets regulatory standards and quality requirements.
• Monitor healthcare laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance and operational excellence.
• Foster strong relationships with community partners and vendors to build a sustainable and effective referral network.

Requirements

• Board Certified Psychiatrist with an M.D. degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience serving as a Medical Director within a behavioral health setting.
• Current professional licensure and the ability to pass a comprehensive Level II background check.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams of nurses and physicians.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
