Mechanical Simulation Engineer (Power Generation Solutions)

FERCHAU Poland is seeking a skilled Mechanical Simulation Engineer to join our team and support structural FEA analysis projects focused on the development of engines and power generation units. You will play a key role in advancing our engineering capabilities through high-level simulation and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Development of FEA/MES models for key engine components.
• Execution of thermo-mechanical simulations, including heat and stress modeling, as well as structural dynamics analyses.
• Creation and enhancement of Python-based pre- and post-processing workflows.
• Optimization and streamlining of simulation setup, assessment, and evaluation processes.
• Collaboration with mechanical development specialists and technical experts to address complex engineering challenges.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of commercial experience in FEA/CAE simulations using ANSYS or Abaqus.
• Python programming skills, particularly for automation tasks.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Dash/Plotly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (minimum B2+/C1 level).
