Key responsibilities
- Design and author rigorous multiple-choice assessment questions tailored for graduate or postgraduate mechanical engineering students.
- Translate complex concepts from fields such as Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics & Vibration & Control, or Thermal-Fluids into challenging, exam-quality materials.
- Develop detailed explanations and rationales for answer choices to ensure academic clarity and precision.
- Review and validate the technical accuracy and pedagogical quality of AI-generated mechanical engineering content.
- Collaborate asynchronously with other subject matter experts to refine and improve the overall quality of project deliverables.
Requirements
- PhD or MS in Mechanical Engineering with current or previous university-level teaching experience in core mechanical engineering disciplines.
- Proven experience in authoring, grading, or reviewing graduate-level exams, problem sets, or advanced coursework.
- Strong ability to convert intricate mechanical engineering principles into clear, exam-ready written content.
- Exceptional written communication skills with a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to technical accuracy.
