Mechanical Engineer

micro1 is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to contribute to an innovative initiative at the intersection of engineering and artificial intelligence. In this fully remote role, you will leverage your deep domain expertise to help train next-generation AI systems by creating high-quality, real-world technical content that shapes how models learn and reason.

Key responsibilities

• Create clear and accurate single-choice questions based on mechanical engineering concepts for AI training applications.
• Translate advanced knowledge into accessible assessment content covering areas such as Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics, Vibration, Control, or Thermal-Fluids.
• Document detailed rationales and explanations for answer choices to support the development of robust AI training datasets.
• Collaborate remotely with project coordinators to meet delivery milestones and conduct quality checks on contributed materials.

Requirements

• PhD or MS in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics, Vibration, Control, or Thermal-Fluids.
• Proven ability to translate complex mechanical engineering principles into clear, precise written content.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate intricate technical concepts effectively.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of technical accuracy.
• Self-motivated and organized approach, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
