Invisible Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Market Curation Editor to join our Product Data Operations team. In this role, you will serve as the essential human judgment layer for a new social-predictions app, ensuring the accuracy and quality of sports markets generated by our automated pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Review and assess system-generated sports markets for factual accuracy, clarity, and adherence to official settlement conventions.
- Approve, edit, or reject candidate markets while providing structured reasoning for each decision.
- Rewrite market questions and resolution language to ensure precision and alignment with fan terminology.
- Monitor live events and schedules to identify and capture markets missed by the automated pipeline.
- Participate in regular calibration reviews to maintain consistency with team guidelines and editorial standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in sports trading, data operations, or sports journalism.
- Deep, current knowledge of professional and collegiate sports leagues, including rules and settlement conventions.
- Strong understanding of sports culture, social media trends, and authoritative data sources.
- Proven ability to make sound judgments on complex edge cases, such as abandoned events or contested outcomes.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce clear, unambiguous content under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work evenings, overnights, and weekends to align with live sporting events.
