Manual QA Engineer

Ciklum is a global product engineering company that supports multinational organizations and scaling startups in solving complex business challenges. We are currently looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join a cross-functional team working on a critical mobile application for a global Financial Services Provider, which is undergoing a major technology refresh to improve scalability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform expert-level web service testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Design and execute advanced front-end automation utilizing Selenium or Playwright frameworks.
• Conduct log extraction and querying via Cloudwatch, Opensearch, and Kibana to support integration and regression testing.
• Manage ticket capture and workflows within Jira and maintain information repositories in Confluence.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and analysts to build a robust quality assurance community.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Tester using industry-standard automation tools.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with AWS and Azure DevOps environments.
• Proficiency in utilizing Xray or similar tools for comprehensive test case management.
• In-depth understanding of SCRUM software and Agile development processes.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills to effectively engage with peers and delivery stakeholders.
