Manager Software Engineering

Betway Group is looking for a Manager Software Engineering to lead our DevOps and platform engineering initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in designing and building our Kubernetes platform, both on-premise and on Azure, while establishing standards that enable our development teams to ship faster and scale effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and own central CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent, self-service delivery across the organization.
• Lead the design and implementation of Kubernetes infrastructure, including containerizing existing workloads and managing Azure AKS.
• Standardize build, test, and release patterns, incorporating automated security and compliance gates.
• Act as the technical authority for DevOps practices, mentoring engineers and aligning toolchains across cross-functional teams.
• Establish robust observability, monitoring, and alerting frameworks to ensure platform reliability.

Requirements

• Deep, hands-on experience designing and owning end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Strong production experience building and operating Kubernetes on-premise and on managed cloud services like Azure AKS.
• Proficiency with Docker, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Solid command of Azure, networking, identity management, and cost-aware architecture.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence teams and drive technical change at scale.
