Mainframe Developer

Experis Manpower Group is looking for a skilled Mainframe Developer to join a long-term project for a leading Danish financial institution. You will contribute to the maintenance and further development of mission-critical systems built on Mainframe technology and Java-based interface applications, working on large-scale enterprise solutions in a stable professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Mainframe technologies, primarily COBOL and JCL.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to implement new functionalities effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.
• Independently investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues within existing systems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Mainframe development and strong knowledge of COBOL and JCL.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of technical investigations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a good command of English for daily international collaboration.
