Machine Learning Team Leader

We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Learning Team Leader to join our team and support one of Europe's largest e-commerce platforms in optimizing their ML scoring solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality ML scoring solutions, including click and conversion predictions, while managing project milestones.
• Oversee the training scope for deep learning models, defining feature spaces and maintaining model lifecycle standards.
• Orchestrate the transition of scoring responsibilities in collaboration with backend and product stakeholders.
• Provide expert insights to shape future roadmaps for ML-driven sponsored offers.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Machine Learning or Data Science roles within production environments.
• At least 2 years of direct people management experience with a proven track record in leading end-to-end model training initiatives.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python, SQL, and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong expertise in cloud-based ML workloads, specifically within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.
• Excellent communication skills in English (minimum B2 level) to drive cross-functional execution and stakeholder alignment.
