Machine Learning Engineer

Toters is a dynamic on-demand e-commerce and delivery platform dedicated to enhancing customer convenience through innovative technology. We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our Product Platform Engineering team and help shape the future of quick commerce and fintech solutions in the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines using XGBoost, LightGBM, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
• Architect scalable training and inference systems for real-time predictions.
• Lead cross-functional ML initiatives and mentor engineering teams.
• Optimize models for demand forecasting, fraud detection, and personalization.
• Apply MLOps best practices and collaborate with DevOps on deployment.
• Process and analyze large-scale datasets using distributed computing frameworks.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building production ML systems at scale for large user bases.
• Expertise in XGBoost, LightGBM, and gradient boosting algorithms.
• Strong proficiency in Python and the ML stack including PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI systems and MCP frameworks.
• Proven track record in ML deployment, MLOps, and technical leadership.
