Are you an experienced ECM Administrator with hands-on M-Files and SharePoint expertise?

emagine has an opportunity for you to support and evolve enterprise content management platforms with a global team.

Key Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in software development or application engineering

  • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise document and content management systems, particularly M-Files and SharePoint

  • Proficiency in API development and integrations (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)

  • Programming and scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, Java, or C#

  • SQL expertise, including writing queries, reporting, and database optimization

  • Experience with content and archive servers, metadata structures, and classification design

  • Familiarity with search engines such as Sinequa or Elasticsearch

  • Understanding of ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management

  • Cloud and infrastructure knowledge, including AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments

  • Experience implementing and managing access controls and audit trails in regulated environments

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate clearly with non-technical users

  • Experience providing user training and support

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

Main Responsibilities

This role combines platform administration with hands-on development and support work:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain document management applications, including M-Files, SharePoint, and AODocs

  • Design and implement API integrations between content platforms and enterprise systems (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)

  • Build automation workflows covering document creation, classification, archival, and retention

  • Implement security and compliance controls, including access management, audit trails, and retention policies

  • Optimize search engine functionality, covering indexing, metadata management, and e-discovery capabilities

  • Develop scripts and utilities in Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript to automate operational tasks

  • Support cloud and on-prem deployments and updates, including AWS, SQL Server, and content/archive servers

  • Troubleshoot incidents and work closely with the support team and business stakeholders to maintain stability

Why This Role

You will join a team tackling a genuine digital transformation journey rather than routine maintenance, with scope to shape how a scaled content management environment evolves. The work is technically varied: platform administration, integration development, automation, and compliance, all in one seat.

Other Details

Full remote, working CET hours. The role sits within a support team model, working closely with a Service Owner and business stakeholders across a regulated, multi-country environment.
