LLM Application Engineer

Talentica is seeking an LLM Application Engineer to join a global, remote-first AI product company. You will be responsible for building the intelligence layer of a proactive smart assistant, designing agentic workflows, and turning complex AI capabilities into reliable, intuitive user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship LLM-powered applications and complex AI agent workflows.
• Design systems for reasoning, planning, memory, and multi-step execution.
• Develop orchestration pipelines that turn probabilistic model outputs into predictable and safe actions.
• Integrate LLMs with APIs, databases, and external tools while optimizing for quality and latency.
• Build evaluation frameworks to measure AI reliability and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in LLMs or generative AI.
• Proven ability to design prompts, agent workflows, and AI behavior systems.
• Experience writing clean, production-quality code in Python.
• Comfort working across various abstraction layers, from model infrastructure to backend services.
• Ownership mentality with a focus on shipping features from concept to production.
