Linux Administrator

emagine Polska is looking for a skilled Linux Administrator to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on managing and delivering critical Linux systems support, with a specific emphasis on Red Hat and Ubuntu environments, ensuring robust patch management and software lifecycle maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive patch management regime for Red Hat and Ubuntu systems.
• Manage daily incidents and service requests to ensure system stability.
• Contribute to the development of security policies and standards, including ISO 27001:2013 compliance.
• Provide expert advice on selecting and implementing the most suitable patching tools.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and support the implementation of new technical processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Linux patch management within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in software lifecycle management and keeping third-party applications updated.
• Solid technical knowledge of Red Hat and Ubuntu operating systems.
• Practical familiarity with automation and patching tools, specifically Ansible.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining high standards of system administration.
