Linux / Kubernetes Infrastructure Engineer

Haddad Brands is seeking a self-driven, mid-to-senior level Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on managing our Linux and Kubernetes environments while offering a unique opportunity to expand your technical expertise into the IBM i / AS400 platform within a dynamic enterprise setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux-based infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
• Oversee Kubernetes environments, ensuring efficient configuration, management, and daily operations.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure security, adhering to a default deny security model.
• Collaborate with ERP and Security teams to support complex system designs and production troubleshooting.
• Engage in continuous learning to develop proficiency in IBM i / AS400 administration.

Requirements

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong experience in Linux systems administration, including hardening, patching, and monitoring.
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s/K3s) and networking fundamentals such as DNS, TLS, and firewalls.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
