Legal Competitive Intelligence/Market Research Analyst

Accufile, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Legal Competitive Intelligence and Market Research Analyst to provide high-quality business intelligence services to our law firm client. This fully remote role focuses on supporting the firm's marketing department by delivering actionable insights through comprehensive industry and company research.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and deliver timely, high-quality research reports on companies, industries, and business intelligence to support marketing initiatives.
• Gather, synthesize, and summarize relevant and well-targeted information regarding prospects, clients, and specific market sectors.
• Execute research projects efficiently, ensuring all deliverables meet the firm's standards and project timelines.
• Utilize a wide range of digital databases and specialized information resources to maintain the accuracy and depth of research findings.

Requirements

• Three to five years of professional research experience, with a strong preference for candidates holding an MLS, MLIS, or Marketing degree.
• Proficiency in legal research platforms and business databases such as EDGAR, USPTO, Lexis, Westlaw, and financial data aggregators.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, combined with the ability to integrate AI-powered research tools into daily workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex research findings in a clear, professional manner.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
