Lead/Architect GenAI Adoption (freelance, part-time)

N-iX is a global software development company partnering with industry leaders to deliver advanced data and analytics solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced AI Architect to lead the discovery and implementation of an enterprise AI-assisted SDLC transformation for a global healthcare organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and AI adoption assessments to evaluate current SDLC processes, architecture, and team readiness.
• Define the GenAI solution architecture and implementation approach, ensuring seamless integration with existing engineering environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement agentic workflows, including guardrails, quality gates, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Develop a prioritized transformation roadmap and establish measurable success criteria to track AI impact.
• Lead pilot execution end-to-end and translate findings into reusable engineering practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting with a focus on Generative AI.
• Proven track record in leading GenAI adoption or enterprise AI-assisted SDLC initiatives.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of LLMs, RAG, AI agents, multi-agent systems, and prompt engineering.
• Experience designing enterprise GenAI architectures, including observability, telemetry, and AI governance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to structure ambiguous initiatives into actionable technical solutions.
